Agua Linda Farms

At the end of Fall break we took kids to the Agua Linda Farms pumpkin patch.  My brother-in-law, Riley, and his girlfriend, Briana, also accompanied us.  I read the time they opened wrong and we ended up getting there an hour early.  Luckily, they still let us in and told us we could do the mazes while we waited.  They had quite a bit of things to do, and we probably spent about two hours there.  Originally, I thought we could pick our own pumpkin, but they had already been pretty picked over.  The Milo maze would have been better if the exit had been marked, but you had no idea what direction you were supposed to be heading.  We still had fun wandering around though.

They had a bunch of tire swings set up for the kids to play on.
I really wanted a picture of all four of them in the tire swing, but Haydn was too distracted by the dogs and chickens.

Haydn had a great time chasing chickens.  Luckily, they were faster.

The hay maze.

We found one of there John Deere's and let Haydn sit in it.  He was quite mad when we made him get off.

Uncle Riley added sound effects.

Briana was a real trooper.  Riley got us all some water to drink because it was dry, hot and dusty.  Really, really dusty.  After girls had drank their water, Ellawyn took a drink of Briana's.  She told her that if you swish the water, then you get more water.  Swishing water is apparently were you spit a little back in after you take a drink.  So, after swishing Briana's water, Ellawyn handed it back to her to take a drink.  And bless her, she did.  I don't even drink after my own kids, as I am not a fan of the swishing principle.  It was impressive.  Nothing like little nieces to break in a new girlfriend.
What trip would be complete without a family photo.
And of course, what family outing would be complete without someone getting injured.  After the pumpkin patch, we went to Mama's Hawaiian BBQ and Haydn walked off the bench and hit his head on the window ledge.
The injured.
Overall, we had a good time.  I don't think this will be a yearly tradition, but it was fun for a weekend outing.
